Correctional Facility Nurse

Did you know that there is a specific nurse that works with patients who are in prison, jail, penitentiaries, and juvenile detention centers? Well now you do, their title is a Correctional Facility Nurse. These nurses work specifically with the inmates at certain facilities, the nurses chose where they want to work and who with. There is a big need for these types of nurses, considering the fact that there is over 2 million people in custody right now. Just because they are in custody doesn't mean sickness, diseases, etc. doesn't happen to them too.
Learning about correctional facility nurses took me by surprise. I had never heard of one before, or even thought to myself "what if an inmate gets sick?" I admit that at first thought I would say the jail justs leave them sick or in pain without giving any care. But I should know better than to think there isn't people in the world who want to help everyone, including inmates.
